Event Post 12 - Haunted House Halloween Party
*Today is the day for Yuya's Haunted House Halloween Party, taking place in the practical dueling test arena!
The place is entirely decked out in spooky, creepy décor.
On the upper walkway, tables are set up with various Halloween themed snacks, including punch bowls, filled with blood red (berry) punch, complete with floating plastic eyeballs. There are also bowls full of candy which may or may not have plastic spiders mixed in amongst the yummy goodness.
Each table is decorated with candle holders with (battery powered) candles. On the candle sticks and all around the walls are fake spider webs.
There are also a number of carved pumpkins dotted about.
Down the stairs in the arena is the dance area, where you can dance to the music, some of which is halloween themed! There is also a smoke machine that occasionally lets out puffs of smoke to make the dance floor look all foggy.
About an hour into the party, you're all in for a surprise! All the lights and music cut out, leaving the area dark, except for the candles which is now the only source of light.
Was it a powercut??
Then, suddenly a spotlight turns on, pointing towards the upper walkway where a figure wearing a dark coloured cape with a hood over their head and a white mask over the upper part of their face, is sat upon the barrier surrounding it. This might of been scary if it wasn't for the fact that you can obviously see Yuya's tomato hair poking out from under the hood.
"Greetings, everyone!" he announces. "And welcome to the party here at the haunted house. I am known as 'The Phantom' and I will be your host for this evening. I hope you find everything to your liking and that you enjoy our wonderful delicacies, such as the blood punch, severed finger sausages and the candy bowls full of spiders." With that, Yuya stands up on the barrier, which miiiight make a few people worried that he might fall. "I do hope that you all have a wonderful spooky evening~!"
With that, Yuya bows to everyone, signalling the end of his little 'performance' and the spotlight turns off. When all the lights and the music come back on, he's vanished~!

*With that, he backflips, then runs towards the stairs where he jumps up and sits and the barrier at the top.*

*He gives Kai a wave before he slides down.

*As soon as he reaches the bottom of the steps, he jumps off the barrier and swiftly runs onto the dance floor, making sure to run near the smoke machine just as it gives a poof of smoke out, making Yuya disappear~
Can you find him amongst the smoke and people on the dance floor, Kai?*

He attempts to locate the troublesome Phantom. You won't get away...!*

*As you are trying to locate the Phantom, you keep seeing flashes of black fabric out of the corner of your eye, but when you turn around, you can't see him between the smoke and the dancers.*

*... you're really tricky, you know that?
the next moment he spots the fabric, he tries to jump!*

*You jump and almost grab him, but Yuya ducks out of the way incredibly quickly as if he was expecting that.
He smiles and looks back.*
Too slow~!
*It seems that to catch him, you may have to think one step ahead!*

*augh! he tries to think.

*It's worth a try! Either way, Yuya is heading off into the smoke again~*

*... hhmmm. He does go around the long way, but he also ducks down, out of obvious sight to Yuya.*

Eventually Yuya makes the mistake of appearing out from the crowd of dancers to take a quick look.*

Yuya you've been grabbed from under the arms from behind*

*Yuya flails a little, not looking so cool and mysterious anymore!
Eventually he stops flailing and just sighs, admitting defeat!*

The Phantom has been swiftly defeated. I guess my honor will be remaining in tact, then!

But the Phantom will return~
*Yuya swooshes his cape across himself dramatically, then when he swooshes it back, he throws confetti onto Kai!*

*Yuya then throws some confetti up in the air so it showers on him and he takes a bow.
After a moment bowing, Yuya looks up, smiling.*
I sewed pockets on the inside of the cape just in case I wanted to randomly shower people with confetti.
