Event Post 10 - Aftermath

*For the last few days, Yuya had slowly and gradually regained conciousness. He wasn't all that coherent during Wednesday and was very in and out of conciousness, but that improved through Thursday and by Friday, he was thankfully mostly coherent, though his thoughts were occasionally still sluggish and it sometimes took him a moment or two to grasp what people were saying to him or to think up a response.
He was exhausted and he was still very weak. All he could really do was lay in his bed and look at the ceiling, or sleep. He could do small gradual movements, like sitting up, or picking something up from the table by his bed (which half the time resulted in him dropping said item), but these movements took a lot of effort and felt like climbing a mountain to him.
He really hated not being able to do much for himself.

Feel free to give him a visit at the infirmary.*

It has been over a week. I was... concerned, as to whether you would awaken enough, or not.

I... Do not want to burden you with questions, about what occurred. I would like it, if when you are ready, that you can speak about it, but... I think you should focus on recovering your strength.

*Yuya nods slightly, but his eyes trail away soon afterwards. There's a silence before he speaks.*

... I need to warn Yuma about something.
And it's something important you should know too.

*He takes a deep breath and lets it out for a moment, as if readying himself for what would more than likely be a decent length explanation.*

... Alexandra used an ability called 'Galaxy Draw' in the duel. Similar to Yuma's 'Shining Draw'.
It allowed her to create Pendulum cards... using my own Pendulum summoning as a basis.
She was able to pendulum summon three Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragons simultaneously and raise their attack via a pendulum effect.
It's how Yuzu and I lost.

*He slowly places a hand weakly over his face.*

I accidentally made her even more stronger than she was... and she intends to use it on Yuma.

He needs to know. I need to tell him.

*he listens quietly and patiently, as Yuya speaks. Once he is done, he nods.*

You are correct. Tsukumo-kun needs to know this.

You are fortunate that you awakened, before he had this encounter. I will make certain that he knows this, and understands this.

However... *... he sighs a bit* You should not blame yourself, for this. You did not intend on such a thing to occur, and under every other circumstance... it would simply not happen, or be expected. ... It does, however, tell us something important. That she is capable of such a feat.

Anything like that, anything at all, is good to know, when handling a situation such as this.

*Yuya doesn't seem too convinced, but he nods anyway. Even if there had been no way he could of known this would happen, Alexandra was still planning to use Pendulums, the method he created, to harm Yuma and take his Numbers away. He hated the idea of it being used like that... and against his friend too.*

Resting is about the only thing I can really do at the moment anyway...

*He seems to think for a moment, but then slowly shakes his head.*

Thanks... but I'm fine for now.
If I need something, one of the infirmary staff is usually around for me to ask.

*he gets up*

Please, focus on your recovery. As much as you are able to do. ... Alright?

*Although Yuya doesn't reply with words this time, he does give Sadame a small tired smile and a nod in agreement.
He then slowly closes his eyes and you get the feeling that it only takes a few moments before he's completely asleep.*
