Event Post 12 - Haunted House Halloween Party
*Today is the day for Yuya's Haunted House Halloween Party, taking place in the practical dueling test arena!
The place is entirely decked out in spooky, creepy décor.
On the upper walkway, tables are set up with various Halloween themed snacks, including punch bowls, filled with blood red (berry) punch, complete with floating plastic eyeballs. There are also bowls full of candy which may or may not have plastic spiders mixed in amongst the yummy goodness.
Each table is decorated with candle holders with (battery powered) candles. On the candle sticks and all around the walls are fake spider webs.
There are also a number of carved pumpkins dotted about.
Down the stairs in the arena is the dance area, where you can dance to the music, some of which is halloween themed! There is also a smoke machine that occasionally lets out puffs of smoke to make the dance floor look all foggy.
About an hour into the party, you're all in for a surprise! All the lights and music cut out, leaving the area dark, except for the candles which is now the only source of light.
Was it a powercut??
Then, suddenly a spotlight turns on, pointing towards the upper walkway where a figure wearing a dark coloured cape with a hood over their head and a white mask over the upper part of their face, is sat upon the barrier surrounding it. This might of been scary if it wasn't for the fact that you can obviously see Yuya's tomato hair poking out from under the hood.
"Greetings, everyone!" he announces. "And welcome to the party here at the haunted house. I am known as 'The Phantom' and I will be your host for this evening. I hope you find everything to your liking and that you enjoy our wonderful delicacies, such as the blood punch, severed finger sausages and the candy bowls full of spiders." With that, Yuya stands up on the barrier, which miiiight make a few people worried that he might fall. "I do hope that you all have a wonderful spooky evening~!"
With that, Yuya bows to everyone, signalling the end of his little 'performance' and the spotlight turns off. When all the lights and the music come back on, he's vanished~!
As always, create threads, threadhop, and have fun!
Happy Halloween~!

*Yuma, is of course, by the food tables, though he's not as enthusiastically digging into it as much as he usually would, in fact he seems to be contemplating really hard on what he should have.
Maybe somebody told him not to eat so much this time??
He appears to be dressed up as a zombie, with ripped up clothes and face-paint which does indeed make him look half dead, with fake blood included. You feel like Yuma was probably not the one who did the face-paint though.*

Hello there. Given the scent, I guess this is where the food is.

*Yuma smiles and greet him.*
Hey, Shirou!!
Haha! Yup! This is where the food is alright!
*Now if only he could choose what to have! It all looks so good but he can't have it all...!*
no subject
Do you have an ache?
no subject
A-ah, no. I don't...! It's just... *He sighs and rubs his head.* I kinda ate to much the last time Yuya held a party because a friend challenged me too and I sorrrrta regretted it when I was ill later that night and for the following day.
I kinda promised Yuya and my girlfriend that I wouldn't eat so much this time...! But... I don't know what to have, it all looks soooo gooooood!!

Well, there are some sausages decorated to look like dismembered fingers, onigiri with a red bean filling, yakitori, cupcakes with little Halloween decorations on them, bowls full of candy, blood red punch with floating eyeballs in it...
*Some of sounds... interesting.*

... That's today, then? I was wondering what the day was...
no subject
*He feels that it's a shame that Shirou can't see all the awesome costumes and decorations.*

::Laughs, she's rather amused by you.::

::Beat. Then she talks a bit more seriously.::
Are you sure you're okay after the events from last month though?
no subject
*Sensing the more serious tone, Yuma calms the super happy upbeat attitude for a moment.*
Yeah. I feel alright anyway.
A lot of bad stuff happened, but, you just kinda gotta keep going, right? I'm glad we were able to stop the demons, though... if it hadn't been for that Labrys woman, I would of been dead meat in that duel with them.

*Yuma stops and looks over at the Ryu-Ran. Who was in this costume?? Maybe that Sora kid? Someone else??
Curious, he walks closer to inspect the demon egg stalker, before poking it.*
no subject
Do you know how difficult it was to get in here?
::That voice sounds familiar, like it belongs on the wrong end of a dragon that should be stomping you dead.::
no subject
A-aaah, hey ow!
*He listens to the voice, racking his brain on who it could be and when he finally figures it out, he looks a little on edge at first, but then he realizes that they're at a party and this guy is in a demon-egg costume.
Yuma just starts sniggering, which eventually blows into full blown laughter.*
no subject
::Says this with full Not-Batman gritty-gravely voice.::
no subject
I-It's just... you come off as such a serious guy and...
... the costume...!!
*He's in hysterics.*

Sorry! It's just super funny!
Okay, okay, I'm done...!
Why are you here, anyway? Not here to ruin the party, riight?
