Ever since I helped Kitty with the Christmas party at the Academy, I've really been giving some serious thought about the possibility of finding some kind of side job doing event organising. Being an Entertainment Duelist is 100% what I want to do for a future career, but I want to try other things too and organising events is something I really enjoy!

I talked to my dad about it over the holidays and he encouraged me to try it out, so I've spent the last month going through photos of all my past events that show the presentation of them, as well as seeking out some statements from a few of the staff at Duel Academy on how well they felt they were organised and run, I guess to build up some kind of portfolio.

I have no idea if I went a little overboard with it, but I wouldn't expect anyone to hire me if I can't prove I can do this, right?

Though the next hurdle is actually finding a place with a job opportunity like this, that I could work around both my duel training and the SJL. It's already kind of a rare job to come by and usually would be a full time thing for people way more qualified for it than I am.

But maybe I can find a chance somewhere.

Well... One of our assistants to our main event organizer just quit.

Something about her mother deflating, T-Posing and being transparent.

So we do have an opening at Leo Corp for event organizing, if you don't mind dealing with Big Evil Corporate Capitalism.

Wow. That's really oddly convenient, but I'd definitely be willing to give it a try!

I only have experience organising parties and events for a school, so I figure having a bit more real life experience in this kind of thing will be good to have. I guess it'll give me a look into not just the fun events you guys do, but I assume you guys sometimes do more business-y events too?

But in the end, if I'm able to help people enjoy an event, no matter what it is, I'd be happy!

Yeah, you'll still have to go into an interview, and I recommend you put on a good suit and the like.

And yes. yes we do end up doing more business-y events much to my constant frustration of having to doll up.

But this is the organizer for our "Greater Domino Area" public events, the private business events is a separate thing, but I can try and see if can drag you to at least one.

Though if you laugh at how I look at one of them, you're dead to me, Yuya.

As long as you don't laugh at me having to dress super smart for the interview, we have a deal!
Besides, I guess sometimes in life we are expected to dress up to play a part, even if it's not exactly suited to us, so I can respect it.
