Dark Games.

It's unbelievable that there is a way of dueling which seems to exist souly to harm another duelist.

The dueling I believe in is the type which entertains people. That makes them smile and be happy.

The fact that these dark games exist and are being actively used... I can't forgive anyone who uses dueling to hurt another person!
Dueling should never be used in that way!

... Well on the bright side, at least around from what I can tell, Dark Games aren't really actively used that much, so that part's inaccurate.

This instance with your buddy is pretty much a weird case. Last time it happened was... Back in March. No one else really mentioned Dark Games before or after that, and they feel like things people mention, you know.

Even if they're rarely used, the fact that they even exist and that people can use them is concerning.

What Yuma and Kotori went through should never of happened.

Not really, no. It's not weird to have someone using a pendant or item that's imbued with that kinda power on them, but most folks who make these things usually have that power innate to them.

Dark Games aren't a toy, after all. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll end up biting off far more than you can chew.

That makes sense.

Still, this means I'm going to have to be on my guard. If this Desperado group used this against Yuma, they could try and use it against me.
And it's something I'd rather completely avoid.

Ah, I should of really explained that better. If someone dueled with that goal and showed no remorse at all afterwards, then I guess, yeah, it'd be hard for me to forgive them.
But if someone truly shows they're remorseful about it, or are trying to better themselves from it, I'd give them the chance. Everyone makes mistakes.

That's probably a much better way of looking at it.

My experience is most of those who do these Dark Games are desperate, and feel they have no other option, but then to enslave someone else to their will.

I guess it isn't as black and white as I was making it to be, huh?

All I've really known is dueling for entertainment and creating smiles through it. It's something I'll always stick by, no matter what!
I still don't agree with using dueling to hurt others, but, I guess there will always be other reasons I should consider, on why someone would resort to it.

Hate the sin, redeem the sinner, so to speak. ... For me, it's because I hated the world because frankly, orphanages and abusive guardians make you a terrible person.

Ah! And no matter what, that's at least what I will always try to aim for with my dueling. Fun and exciting duels that bring smiles to the audience!

Ugh...this is so messed up! We knew there was supernatural stuff here when we came to Domino but you never signed up to be targeted by this "Dark Game" crap!
