Event Post 18 - The Naturia Spring Festival

*It's a beautiful, warm spring day on the island, the best type of weather for Yuya's Naturia Spring Festival where you guys, yes YOU, get to run your own events for the day as part of the festival!! Be it sports, treasure hunts, tarot readings, bake sales or anything else (as long as it would be school approved!)

Feel free to have your Academy character run an event for the festival anywhere on the island, or join in at other's events!

(Note: This takes place after the end of the Barian plot, BUT because we actually haven't done the ending to that yet, please try to refrain from discussing it if possible! HAVE FUN!)*

::Euphie's set up a Tarot Reading station near Osiris Red offering 1 to 10 cards for a glimpse into your future.

However, she seems kind of sulking despite being dressed up with somewhat tacky jewelry and clothes to look more the part of a prognosticator.::

*Slate's at the school since they were told of the event that was happening, and was allowed to come for it outside of the advanced placement classes.

They come across your reading station, Euphie, as they look curiously over it.*

What exactly is... tarot reading, anyway?

Using cards to tell the future, by assigning values, concepts and motifs to certain cards in the Deck.

Tell the future? Is it really possible, to do that?

If you have a basis of information to work from, you can extrapolate future trends, and project possible outcomes.

So yeah, I can't guarantee 100% accuracy, but.

This card, the three of cups plus The Moon represents a secret nightlife or other life held by others.

But the potential that remains hidden is represented by... King of Cups in the Reverse position. There isn't really potential, just growing intolerance. And someone unequipped to be a leader. But shapes themselves to be. You'll be moving to the script and fiction of someone bigger than you know or realize could be manipulating you, as indicated by this card and the Moon. A deep relationship is in danger due to the mysterious figure behind much of this reading.

That's a lot deeper than I was expecting. *You can tell by the look on her face that some details might be more accurate than she was expecting too.*

There seems to be a lot of talk about lies, hidden things and manipulation in both our readings.

Hey! How's the Tarot Reading going?

So so.

Most interesting read was Yuma and the girl he's with.

Oh? Yuma and Kotori had theirs done? What was so interesting about it?

They're predicted to get involved with some troublesome being that creates lies, and they have to expose the fabricated reality the person is creating.

Someone who creates lies that they have to expose? That sounds... kinda rough.

Hey, how about you do a reading for me! I don't think I've had one for a bit. I'll have whatever kind of reading they had!

Yeah. It was a really abstract and menacing reading to be honest and... sure give me a moment.

The Reading is covered by the Ten of Coins in the Reverse position. Typically this card shows ill-preparedness in terms of finances, but unless you're about to go bankrupt or your family is, I think this might represent more ill-preparedness for the future. You thought things were smooth sailing and settled, but a storm lies on the horizon, threatening to bring chaos to what seemed like a positive ending.

The Past influence haunting you is represented by Seven of Coins in the Reverse position. You feel like as much as you grow, you remain at the starting line. Rewards are hard to come by.
