Event Post 18 - The Naturia Spring Festival

*It's a beautiful, warm spring day on the island, the best type of weather for Yuya's Naturia Spring Festival where you guys, yes YOU, get to run your own events for the day as part of the festival!! Be it sports, treasure hunts, tarot readings, bake sales or anything else (as long as it would be school approved!)

Feel free to have your Academy character run an event for the festival anywhere on the island, or join in at other's events!

(Note: This takes place after the end of the Barian plot, BUT because we actually haven't done the ending to that yet, please try to refrain from discussing it if possible! HAVE FUN!)*

What exactly is... tarot reading, anyway?

Using cards to tell the future, by assigning values, concepts and motifs to certain cards in the Deck.

Tell the future? Is it really possible, to do that?

If you have a basis of information to work from, you can extrapolate future trends, and project possible outcomes.

So yeah, I can't guarantee 100% accuracy, but.

Name how many cards and if you'd like it to be general or specialized to a certain topic.

The Present and General Theme: Two of Swords in the Upright position. The present and the theme of your reading is "Compromise" and "Keep Calm", be objective about everything that stands before you and avoid blind emotion.

Past influences still affecting you are represented by the Four of Coins in the Upright position. This card represents, ultimately, wealth, status and a sense of security. You are still being influenced by a need to ensure your own future and your own comfort.

How far was your family willing to go for money? Have you been nurturing something that has turned against you or might do so? Because this card represents something you meant well that comes to stab you in the back.

It also represents someone in your past, who still affects you, who refuses to change due to their own stubborn arrogance.

Also, this plus the Two of Swords represents there is a possible deal or contract from the past, that continues to have negative reprocussions on you.

The Future: King of Coins in the Upright position. Ultimately success in terms of business and money. No need to worry about your life in terms of financial security and luxury. Of course this is earned by your own hard work and dependable nature, so don't be lazy.

The Subconscious / The Reason: Three of Cups in the Upright position. You seek happiness, popularity, friendship, and joy. You want to be a part of a community, to know people, to make friends. Though, you're likely to be the level headed one of any group as per the Two of Swords.

But I think you want to be less shy.

The Hidden Potential: Five of Wands in the Upright position. However, to get friends and security, you need to be noticed. But there will be a clash of personalities. Something that makes things hard to move forward and keeps you in a shell.

Ultimately, this card means that to gain what you seek, you must stand up for it, and fight. You must battle for it.
