Event Post 4 - Christmas Party Time!

It is the Friday before winter break, and of course, it's the day for Yuya's Christmas party at Duel Academy!! If you head to the practical dueling test area you will find it completely decked out in paper garlands, tinsel and baubles. There is music playing loudly in the room, which is mostly popular Japanese music, but also some occasional Christmas tunes mixed in. Most of the music is upbeat, but there are also some occasional slow pieces too!

Up on the top walkway is where the buffet of food is set up on tables with just about everything you could imagine being on offer (And yes, there is extra of the meat based foods, Akuma!) as well as a few punch bowls scattered about. There is also a really nice strawberry Christmas cake on one of the tables, feel free to take a slice everyone, it looks REALLY good.

Down the stairs is the bottom part of the room, which is being used as a big dance area for anyone who wishes to dance to the music.

[Yuzu blinks - she had the results randomized and sent them without looking, so she had no idea who her santa was. Until, apparently, right now.]

[She pins her thermos under her arm and unwraps the gift.]

::It's a fairly thick book called "An annotated history of Fusion Summons, 2015 edition". If you go through it, it goes into the history of Fusion Summons in Duel Monsters, with a lot of trivia notes, historical information, decks the Fusions would be run in...

It's a bit 'go over the head' thick and deep. But. It might be useful when you get a hang of them?::

[Yuzu blinks and looks at the cover of the book. She flips through the pages - she catches pictures of stuff like Kaiba with his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.]

W-wow...this is...really detailed... [She keeps looking through it.]

You mentioned you didn't know anything about Extra Deck cards, half rate. So I figured I'd start you with the simplest Summoning method that would least scare your bumpkin brain.

[Yuzu blinks a couple times. Hearing that still bugs her a little, but...it doesn't feel like an insult this time.]

[Eventually, she gives a little nod.]

That's why I came to Duel Academy! To become a better duelist! [She holds up the book.] And...I'm gonna use this to become one!

[She smiles again.] So - thank you for the gift, Akae!
