Yuzu gave me this awesome new Kuriboh for Christmas!

Though, it turns out it contained the spirit of one.

It somehow ate all my Christmas decorations when I wasn't looking.

Well... guess it saves me having to take them down.

I spent the whole day decorating the house for Christmas!

... though I might of gone a little overboard.

*Today is the day for Yuya's Winter Gala, being held at the Obelisk Blue male dorms, in their huge events hall.
The entire hall is mood lit with blue lighting with special lights projecting snowflake shapes onto the walls. One half of the room has a number of round tables, covered with blue or white table cloths. Chairs can be found around the tables and each table has a small fancy snowflake decoration as a centre piece.
The other half of the hall is the dance floor.

Around the walls is where the buffet tables of food can be found, including various Christmas/New Year themed food and desserts and a number of punch bowls.
The whole set up looks very fancy!

For this party, it has a formal dress code, so smart clothing is required! So put on your best dresses, suits, shirts ect. and join in on this party that Yuya (and Tome-san!) have obviously put a LOT of effort into.

Since it's the end of November, I figured this would be the best time to announce the next event at Duel Academy!!

This will be the 'Winter Gala', which is taking place on the 17th of December, just before the two-week winter break! This event will require formal outfits and I've actually managed to get it held in the Obelisk Blue male dorms huge hall! This event is gonna be probably my biggest yet!!

It's a shame to think that this is my last year doing these events at the Academy, but that's why I want to go all-out with them as much as I can, so please look forward to the Winter Gala!

Christmas Day was really awesome! A bunch of us went into Domino City for the day, where we met up with Yuma and Kotori, so we could all hang out and have some fun! We checked out the exhibitions they had at the museum, went to a café for a bit of lunch, spent the afternoon in the arcade, then when it had turned dark we went to the plaza to check out all the awesome Christmas lights and decorations! They looked so amazing!! Decorations like that are always the best thing about Christmas!
I love this time of the year so much!

Number 64...

I never really thought that I'd end up having one of these Number cards, let alone one of these 'Legendary' ones. Yuma and I discussed it and for now, he's entrusting me and Gongenzaka with protecting these two cards that we won in the duel against the two Barians.
I was pretty beat after the duel, but after a lot of rest, I'm finally feeling much better.

For now, I think I just want to relax and enjoy the holidays! I haven't gotten around to seeing the Christmas lights and decorations in Domino yet, so I think I might do that tomorrow or on Christmas Day! If anyone wants to join me, let me know. We can make a day out of it!

*It's Friday, the last day of classes before the winter break and also the day of Yuya's Christmas Party which, as always is being held in the practical dueling test area.

Going in, you will see that the place is decorated with all kinds of lights, tinsel, garlands and other Christmas decorations, it looks incredibly festive! There's even a Christmas Tree set up in the room! There are a ton of balloons around too.
On the top walkway is where the buffet tables are, with a ton of different kinds of party food and drink. Punch and eggnog are available!!
And as always the lower part is the dance floor!

The Christmas party this year will be held after classes on Friday the 18th of December, the last day of classes before the winter holidays begin! If any of you have any suggestions or questions for anything regarding the party, then feel free to leave them in the comments!!

The fun has just begun!!

It is the Friday before winter break, and of course, it's the day for Yuya's Christmas party at Duel Academy!! If you head to the practical dueling test area you will find it completely decked out in paper garlands, tinsel and baubles. There is music playing loudly in the room, which is mostly popular Japanese music, but also some occasional Christmas tunes mixed in. Most of the music is upbeat, but there are also some occasional slow pieces too!

Up on the top walkway is where the buffet of food is set up on tables with just about everything you could imagine being on offer (And yes, there is extra of the meat based foods, Akuma!) as well as a few punch bowls scattered about. There is also a really nice strawberry Christmas cake on one of the tables, feel free to take a slice everyone, it looks REALLY good.

Down the stairs is the bottom part of the room, which is being used as a big dance area for anyone who wishes to dance to the music.

Hey everyone! Just announcing that the Christmas Party will take place next Friday and will be held in the practical dueling test area. It will start at 6pm and run no later than midnight!

If there is anything anyone wants to suggest for the party or if you have any questions, let me know today and I'll see if I can do something, but otherwise, there's gonna be a real nice buffet of food, plenty of music and great decorations!

I was helping Yuma look up places in Domino City he can take his friend when she's visiting and I found out that they actually have a huge Christmas display up there until the beginning of January. Loads of lights and a huge Christmas tree in main square of the city.

I really want to go and see them! The lights and decorations are always the best part of Christmas!

*So, if you are in the vicinity of the Osiris Red dorms, you will notice very quickly that the outside of both dorms are now decorated with Christmas decorations. The inside of both dining areas are also decorated. The dorms look like a regular Christmas wonderland. There's hanging decorations, wall decorations and tinsel everywhere.
And it seems the one behind this is putting the finishing touches to some final decorations outside the male dorms, before standing back and looking satisfied with his work.

Yes it's Yuya.

And no, I don't think he asked permission to make the dorms look like Santa's grotto. He just did it.*

I enquired to the Principal about doing a Christmas Party at the Academy and I somehow left with the title of "Student Events Organizer".
I quite like the sound of that!!

Well, a Christmas party is definitely a go! It will be held just before winter break, so everyone has equal chance to go to it!
If any of you have any suggestions for it, then I'm all ears!

And I guess if I'm this events organizer thing now, I'd be happy to hear any suggestions for future events!

The fun has just begun!!
