Event Post 4 - Christmas Party Time!

It is the Friday before winter break, and of course, it's the day for Yuya's Christmas party at Duel Academy!! If you head to the practical dueling test area you will find it completely decked out in paper garlands, tinsel and baubles. There is music playing loudly in the room, which is mostly popular Japanese music, but also some occasional Christmas tunes mixed in. Most of the music is upbeat, but there are also some occasional slow pieces too!

Up on the top walkway is where the buffet of food is set up on tables with just about everything you could imagine being on offer (And yes, there is extra of the meat based foods, Akuma!) as well as a few punch bowls scattered about. There is also a really nice strawberry Christmas cake on one of the tables, feel free to take a slice everyone, it looks REALLY good.

Down the stairs is the bottom part of the room, which is being used as a big dance area for anyone who wishes to dance to the music.

*Holding a plastic up of punch in one hand, Yuya is stood up on the walkway, leaning on the barrier and looking over the dance area with a smile on his face. He's really glad that people appear to be enjoying themselves. Occasionally, when a song he knows comes on, he'll start to tap his foot to the melody and move around a little or he'll sing along to it, getting caught up in the song and forgetting he's in a room full of people.
Well, since the music is loud, it's difficult to hear him, unless you are stood right next to him.
He's actually a pretty good singer.*

*A bit after the party starts, when it gets a bit more at night, Hitoshi is there. drinking from a glass of punch and looking over the buffet table. girls every once in a while try to come up and get him to dance, which he shies away from, to their disappointment.

Shockingly, he is wearing some colors to fit the more festive mood. some more reds and greens.*

*Yuya is at the table getting some food and as he is there, he notices that every so often Hitoshi is being approached to be asked to dance, but he seems to turn them away. He curiously approaches him.*

::She's in a corner in the top walkway, eating food by herself. Meat food. She seems a bit awkward to be there and wondering how the hell she got rolled up in this.::

*Yuma notices her sat by herself and decides to go over to her. He's holding a plate full of food.*

[Yuzu is bundled up and nursing a thermos - it looks like she's still nursing the cold she got earlier in the week, but she's well enough to come to the party at least.

She's socializing a bit, but also keeping her distance - she's still a bit a sneezy, so be careful if you get close.]

[BAH GAWD, THE TIME HAS COME. Yuzu has gotten a table set-up and clearly marked for people to leave their Secret Santa gifts at up on the walkway. Come leave your gift at your leisure or wait until the person you got it for walks by and give it to them yourself! Or if you're the creepy type, hide behind another table and watch them as they open the present, your weirdo.]

[For her part, Yuzu is waiting by the table, a wrapped gift held to her chest. She's waiting for a certain goggled somebody to saunter his way on by.

She looks a little nervous.]

[Yasha sets herself up next to the table, bouncing up and down excitedly. She's holding a surprisingly large box, wrapped in obnoxiously bright wrapping paper. Shockingly, there are stars on it.

One can only hope there's nothing fragile in that box as she bounces up and down.]

[It's been a long, long time since Yasha got to really celebrate Christmas. Back when she was a kid, back before she had her own body.

So while she's normally a bundle of energy ready to explode at any moment, tonight she's pretty constantly exploding. You can find her just about anywhere as she bounces to and fro like a human superball.

The fact that if you find her by the buffet table she is partaking in anything and everything sugary probably isn't helping her energy levels from being at an all time high.]
