I'm trying to decide whether I want to go to any Halloween events this weekend or not. I'm not sure if I even feel up to it.
On one hand, it would probably be good to get out of the house for a while. I haven't really been out much since the incident with that girl, but also, things are still kinda tense between me and Yuto...
... we haven't had the chance to talk, but I know he's been in a bad way lately after he had a run in with that same girl.
I just want to give him some space for now.
On the other hand, part of me doesn't even want to risk going out, especially if it's true that girl was something to do with Hibiki...
... who knows what they're even planning.

*Leaving the Sakaki family home in Maiami City after the argument with Yuto, Yuya just ran.
He had no idea where he was going, all he wanted to do was just get away from what happened as far as possible and just be on his own. He ran for a while, then walked for even longer with no clear goal to where he wanted to end up. His head was in too much of a mess for that.
Eventually he found himself in a more secluded and rural part of the city right on the outskirts, walking alongside the river which was still quite large in this area. There wasn't many buildings or people here either.
Glancing over the wall by the river, Yuya spotted a bunch of large rocks on the other side, that lead down to the water's edge. Carefully, he climbed over the wall and onto the rocks below. He walked down them, before sitting down and watching the water lap up against the rocks for a while.
This allowed his thoughts to start wandering out of control, as he replayed the argument and what Yuto said to him over and over again.
He'd never even realized that his pranks had been hurting him. He felt he SHOULD have realized it... but he didn't.
He should have stopped when Yuto told him too... but... he didn't.
He should have paid more attention and asked why Yuto had been so upset lately.
But.
He.
Didn't.
And now he'd taken it too far and possibly lost his brother's trust. Maybe forever.
The D-Pad on his belt rang. Looking at it, he could see it was his mother trying to call him, but he couldn't face her, or anyone right now. Instead, he put the device on silent mode, so he didn't hear it ring, before placing it back on his belt.
His eyes tearing up in frustration, Yuya pulled his legs to his chest and buried his face in them.
"I'm such an idiot."
As he sits alone on the rocks, he is completely unaware of anything else around him, other than the sound of the river in front of him.*

I'm sending out this message as it's probably the quickest way to alert you all at once.
Hibiki, the guy who lead that 'Desperado' group that targeted Yuma and I in my first year at Duel Academy has gone off the deep end, claiming the world 'isn't real'. Apparently he turned into a woman and is now calling himself 'Echo the Apocalypse' and used some kind of weird Number card 'Number XX: Utopic Dark Infinity'.
He might be still hung up on that prophecy book that made him target Yuma and I originally, so there might be a chance he'll target us again.
If you see, or are approached by Hibiki, be careful... and mom, be cautious on who you invite into the house for now.

Don't mention anything about his going 'rouge' publicly for now though. Serena wants to keep this out of the news.

I was out in Maiami City running a few errands for mom when I came across a newspaper with this headline.

It's some kind of smear article on dad, claiming crazy things like how he knew he was 'washed up', how his dueling hadn't been up to par in his recent duels before the accident and claiming his leg injury wasn't as bad as it was, even claiming the accident was on 'purpose' to go out with some kind of 'blaze of glory' because he 'knew' he was going to lose to his opponent!
They even go on to claim it's the end of 'Entertainment Dueling'! Not even mentioning me, or Yuzu or You Show Duel School who can keep it going!
It's ridiculous! Who even writes this stuff?!
And why do people always assume the worst of dad when something happens?
This comes only a day after dad had a check up on his leg. It's healing, but not as fast as they'd hoped, so he still has to rest it for at least another month before they consider it safe for him to start physiotherapy on it and even then it's still up in the air if he'll be able to go back to doing Action Dueling or not.
I dunno, I guess I just had to vent about this somewhere. I really thought the media had left us alone like we asked and then someone just writes... this!

Hey. Do you guys remember that adventure we went on in Romania like two years ago? Where there were people who'd turned into monsters via those yellow crystals and Despacito was playing all the time?
I met someone today named Lulu who's looking for someone. She doesn't know what he looks like, but she says he has a crystal like this in his possession. She's looking for him because he apparently did something dangerous to himself and others, but she wasn't able to really explain what.
She gave a name for him, 'Ren', but he may not be going by, or respond to that name, but it's believed he's in the general area. It's just that area covers Domino, Maiami, Heartland, Den City ect.
Since we've all seen these crystals before, could you keep an eye out for anyone who has them?
Lulu left me her contact details, the net contact is if you need to speak to her, but if you see someone who has one of these crystals, call the number instead as it should ping her and send her coordinates so she can respond.
I know it's a lot to ask, but I think she doesn't have a lot to go on to find this guy or many people who can help.

Most of you will have heard about our dad, considering it's all over the news right now.
We were watching the duel on TV and the accident just... happened and all you can do is sit there and feel helpless.
Mom is trying to find out more and to see if we can arrange to get him home. Yuto is writing up a statement for dad's website just asking for our privacy while we deal with this as some news places have been trying to bother us for details.
We don't really know much more than them right now anyway. We think the main injury he has is his leg, but it sounds like it's pretty messed up. I just wish he wasn't in a whole different country at the moment.
Things just feel kinda heavy right now, I guess.
Maybe I should just step away from the TV and social media for a while.

Event Post 31 - Shopping for Halloween
*Yuya can be found in downtown Maiami City, or the shopping district of Domino City looking in the windows of a costume shop.
Leo Corp were holding a Halloween event in Domino City on the 31st, which was the first big event they'd be doing since he became the assistant to their Events Organiser. He was told he could wear any costume he wanted, as long as his staff lanyard and badge were showing.
There was only one problem...
... he has no idea what to go as!!*

Event 30 - Party at the Sakaki's
*If you happen to know any of the Yu brothers, then you were probably invited to their 19th birthday party at their house in Maiami City.
When you arrive, Yuya greets you with enthusiasm at the door as he invites you in.
There are party food, snacks and drinks set up on the kitchen table, while in the living area, there is a Nintendo Switch set up and a selection of games to play together on their TV.
Occasionally you might be joined by one of the Sakaki family pets. They are very friendly and are happy to receive many pets.
Also, if you happen to find yourself needing to take a break from the noise of the party, a separate room at the back of the house, a study, has been set up as a quiet area.

Oh wow. Have I been busy!
I got a part-time job at the Domino Branch of Leo Corp, working as the assistant to their Events Organiser for Domino City and so for the last few weeks I've been settling into a routine with that, as well as carrying on with the Super Junior League and making sure I spend time with Yuzu and my brothers.
Yuzu and I had a really nice movie and dinner date for Valentine's Day! I actually heard back about getting the assistant job the day before, so I guess it was a double celebration.
Though I only just realised that today is March 1st and my brothers and I turn 19 on Tuesday.
Guess I got a little too distracted with everything else. It really crept up on me!

Ever since I helped Kitty with the Christmas party at the Academy, I've really been giving some serious thought about the possibility of finding some kind of side job doing event organising. Being an Entertainment Duelist is 100% what I want to do for a future career, but I want to try other things too and organising events is something I really enjoy!
I talked to my dad about it over the holidays and he encouraged me to try it out, so I've spent the last month going through photos of all my past events that show the presentation of them, as well as seeking out some statements from a few of the staff at Duel Academy on how well they felt they were organised and run, I guess to build up some kind of portfolio.
I have no idea if I went a little overboard with it, but I wouldn't expect anyone to hire me if I can't prove I can do this, right?
Though the next hurdle is actually finding a place with a job opportunity like this, that I could work around both my duel training and the SJL. It's already kind of a rare job to come by and usually would be a full time thing for people way more qualified for it than I am.
But maybe I can find a chance somewhere.

Dad has finally got a break in his tour schedule and he's coming back home for a bit! We haven't seen him in person for months, so I'm really excited!
Mom's already planning a family day and is organising a photographer to get some photos of us all together, haha! I think it'll be nice to have all of us together for a bit though!

Event 29 - Talk in the Cafe
*Yuya was stood outside a cafe located on the promenade in Maiami City, dressed in a jacket and scarf to keep warm from the winter temperatures while he waited for Yuzu to arrive.
The cafe he'd invited Yuzu to was fairly new. It had opened just after the New Year and was Duel Monster themed. He hadn't had the chance to check it out, so it was a fairly good excuse to ask Yuzu if she wanted to check it out with him.
Though it turned out the only day they both happened to be completely free this week was Valentine's Day.
Kinda weird how that worked out.
He took a deep breath, finding himself feeling a little nervous.
He kept telling himself that it was just Yuzu and that he should relax. They knew each other better than anyone and no matter what happened, he was sure things would work out and be fine.
As he waits, he starts to balance one of his cards on the end of his finger to keep his mind off any anxiety he was feeling.*

Event 28
*It's a crisp winter's day and Yuya, dressed in a coat and scarf to protect him from the cold, is sat on a bench in the park in Domino City. While taking this small break from whatever he was doing or wherever he was going, he takes out his D-Pad and eventually finds himself absent-mindedly flicking through some photos he kept on there.
Some were fairly recent and some were from a while ago.
He loved looking back at them now and then, but recently he'd been looking at them more than usual and it especially made him smile whenever he came across pictures that featured Yuzu in them, whether she was smiling for the camera, or trying to murder him with her fan during the time of the photo.
It didn't matter. Each one made him feel happy.
You could be passing through and wondering what he's smiling at.
Or maybe you can clearly see what he's looking at.
Either way, this boy probably needs a bit of love advice.*
