Event 27 - After Finals Party

*Today is the day for Yuya's After Finals Party which is being held at the Obelisk Blue male dorms, in their huge events hall. This party is for everyone to celebrate their finals success and to see off the students graduating this year.
It is also open to new students, who will be starting the Academy in the new semester!

For Yuya, this is the last event he will be hosting at the academy as their events organiser, so anyone familiar with his parties will notice he's gone all out on everything! There's a very gold and red theme with the decorations that are everywhere, including gold and red balloons, streamers and tassels. There is also plenty of food and drink at the buffet table.

One side of the hall has tables and chairs, with balloons as their centre pieces. There is also a dance floor on the other side of the hall.

There is no particular dress code for the party, though dressing up in nice party clothes was encouraged!

He does like the party, sure, but social stuff has always been kinda hard...*

... but also Shian is here too, trying to not look so sour that they end up dragging down the entire mood of the dang party.

*People at the party might hear a loud revving sound in the distance, but it's drowned out by the music being played. Until it gets closer. And closer. And students start staring at the big doorway to the events hall-- at which then they realize some poor Obelisk Blue students are running away in terror. At that point, a D-Wheel finally busts through, with Yugo at the wheel (of course), but also his terrible influence of a brother, Yuri, is riding behind him. Yugo screeches to a halt, powering down the D-Wheel itself, before raising up his hands, face still hidden by his helmet's visor.* FREEEEEEDOOOOMMMMMM

Trena's here! She's in a huge party dress and has clearly snuck too much soda (so like, one) and she's bouncing from foot to foot. You can find her either on the dance floor (and she will be dancing with you, unless you tell her no very adamantly) or eating.

Where does all of that go? It is a mystery.

Melody Tomozawa, dressed in a pretty red flower dress that came up just above her knees, wandered around the party hall carrying a glass of red tropical juice with an umbrella in the glass.

She had been invited to said party almost immediately after passing her entrance exam, and decided to attend so as not to be rude.

But now that she was here, she didn't really know what to do. She really wasn't used to being......around people.

As Melody continued to wander, she watched everyone else dancing, eating, goofing around, and otherwise making merry. She couldn't help but feel out of place here, but did her best to try to keep a low profile.

*In the middle of the party, there is a break in the music as Yuya, who is dressed in a white shirt, red tie and a grey waistcoat and trousers, walks up to the top of the dance floor with a microphone.*

Hey everyone!

As you know, or may not know, I'm one of the many that is in the graduating class of this year, which means that this is the last ever event I could organise here as the student events organiser, so I thought I'd prepare a little speech.

I've really enjoyed organising these events over the past three years and I consider myself really lucky to have gotten this experience! I hope the events and parties I ran helped you all to have fun and gave you something to look forward to and smile about, other than classes and schoolwork, that is!

*There is some laughing from the crowd, cos really, who looks forward to classes and schoolwork!*

I'm going to miss being able to organise these events for you, but we all eventually have to move on to other things. The Academy will be in charge of choosing a new events organiser, so they will be taking applications for it when the new school year starts.

I also want to give a big shout out to Tome-san, who has always been my partner in crime in organising these events. She was happy to get involved, plan things with me, order in what supplies I needed and was always ready to back the party up with an amazing selection of food. So, whoever gets chosen to take my place, Tome-san is your best friend and will happily help you with everything you need.
Also a big thanks to the Academy staff, for agreeing to let me loose with streamers and balloons and for supervising the events.

I also want to give a big thanks to my friends and my brothers, who were supportive, in their own ways, to these events and helped out when I needed it.

Anyway, I guess I've rambled enough! Now lets party to celebrate the end of our finals, the graduating class and the new students who are starting in the new semester!!

*When he finishes the speech, party poppers go off, sending a sea of streamers over everyone on the dance floor as the music starts back up.

A little while later, Yuya can be found hanging out at the edge of the dance floor with a nostalgic look on his face. You can see this event is rather bittersweet for him. He's happy he's graduated, and moving on to life outside the Academy, but kinda sad that this is last event he could organise for the Academy.*

::Meanwhile, Sora's kicking his feet, sitting in a chair at a table. Giving the exact air that spooks nearly every other student from coming near him. He's deep in thought.::

*Tomoko is here!
Maybe she isn't a full time student at Duel Academy yet, but this year she's one of the few students being accepted on an advanced placement at the school, while finishing up her last year at the Domino Academy.

Dressed in a simple cute pink dress with hearts on it and a little white purse hanging over her shoulder to her side, she's making starry eyes at all the nice looking desserts!

Then she looks left. Then right. Then she quickly takes an eclair and then... puts it in her purse, before quickly making a 'ssshh' sound, holding her finger in front of her mouth.

What has she smuggled into the party?*
